Slovak-rooted Turkish DJ and producer, SUMIA, is set to release ‘Childrens Techno’ on Dec 22nd. You can pre-order it from today.

Slovak-rooted Turkish DJ and producer Su Sargın, better known as SUMIA, is gearing up to release her new single, “Childrens Techno,” on Volx Community & Records. At 152 BPM it’s ready to get the crowd going and a great embodiment of SUMIA’s style and a growing trend of techno getting faster.

The track is a collaboration with fellow producer Sopik, and the release will be accompanied by a huge release party in the Turkish capital, Ankara on December 22nd.

Following the release, there is also a music video to follow.

About Sumia

SUMIA embodies an emerging techno scene in Istanbul. Her music is defined by its raw analogue synths, hardstyle techno beats and deep vocals, which she records herself.

Her first release, Spellbound, was released under Exima Label and climbed up to 29th place on Beatports Peaktime Techno chart. Her DJ career soon followed and she has already shared the booth with Cosmic Boys, Julian Jeweil and Stella Bossi.

Outside the music industry, SUMIA is also a generous philanthropist. Using her label, Volx community and record label, to empower donations, she donated proceeds from the V/A ‘Stronger & Together’ to aid those affected by the February 2023 earthquake in Turkey and neighbouring Syria.

Heading into 2024, SUMIA is hosting the Volx Collection Pop-up Party to showcase her latest design collection ahead of a massive European and U.S tour.
