What’s the first record you ever bought?

The first record I purchased was Rockwell – ‘Somebody’s Watching Me’ on Motown.

The first time you remember hearing electronic music?

1988, in my uncle’s Trans-Am. I was confused as to what I was hearing, but I knew I liked it.

Your favourite ever record?

Ever? That’s almost impossible to answer. But if I have to pick one in electronic music, it would have to be the 1997 version of Hatiras – ‘The Anthem’. Such a mind-blowing piece.

The guaranteed floor-filler?

Warren Clarke – ‘Over You (Mr.G Remix)’.

The guilty pleasure?

80s music and freestyle, aka Gino beats!

The last track of the night?

Nina Kraviz – ‘I’m Week’.

The best chillout record?

Moby – ‘Porcelain’.

The best record for a family party?

Obviously it’s Lionel Richie – ‘All Night Long’.

The soundtrack to a lazy Sunday afternoon?

Would have to be MGMT, Oracular Spectacular.
