What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
Do not spend too much time thinking and not enough doing. Find your strength in the sound and make your transition.
What inspires you?
All kind of life experiences.
What’s the next big thing?
My new EP, Strapon. We’re currently working on a video for the track ‘Strapon’, directed by Lil Internet.
Best club experience?
Playing ‘Never Grow Old’ from Robert Hood on a Saturday morning at Berghain last year!
What’s the worst job you’ve ever had?
I worked in a call centre for a few months. We had to sell a minimum of ten credit cards a day to stay in the company… Horrible. This kind of job makes you realise you have to fight for your dreams.
How do you know when a track’s finished?
When you can’t stop doing weird dance moves alone in front of your computer.
Which song do you wish you wrote?
Underground Resistance – ‘The Final Frontier’.
What’s the easiest way to make it in the music industry?
Not trying to make it in the music industry!

I don’t have regrets really.
What one thing would most improve your life?
Serenity.
Collaboration: rich creative experience or pain in the ass?
I have the chance to collaborate with people I also appreciate on a human level, from Maelstrom to Miss Kittin. This dimension is really important to me and make the creative process much more fluid.
What’s the secret to a great mix?
Not to be in a self-pleasure state of mind. It’s all about sharing.
If you could only listen to one more track, what would it be?
Plaid – ‘Last Remembered Thing’.
How do you relax?
I can sleep up to 12 hours straight 🙂
What one piece of software/kit could you not do without? Why?
My beloved Juno-106. You can’t do anything wrong with a Juno.
Art or money?
I truly believe both are compatible. Why should artists live on love alone?
Strangest place you ever wrote a track?
I wrote ‘Drum Program’ in the waiting lounge at Frankfurt Airport.
Must-read blogs/forums?
I only read forums about synths or technical stuff. Totally boring for a non-geek human. I’ve never been into blogs.
What’s your single biggest frustration in the music industry?
I’m sad to notice that singular art form and subversive policies aren’t supported by what you call industry.
What’s the worst thing about making music?
Struggling for days to find this one sound you have in mind but suddenly realising it has been made 10 times better 20 years ago.
What’s your motto?
Don’t think too much, make a decision.
