Umfang for Bossa Nova Civic Club. Brooklyn venue Bossa Nova Civic Club launch their new mix series by inviting Umfang for a spin. It’s quite fitting seeing as she was the first guest to play there back in 2012. Umfang, co-founder of DJ agency and collective Discwoman, provides a banging set of industrial techno that bleeps and squeaks in all the right places.
Oneman for Fabric. If you want a taster of what Fabric’s Room 3 was like on Friday night then look no further than this mix. As the extremely talented Oneman provides a set for the Fabric Promo Mix series. Showcasing his talent for unearthing gems and blurring boundaries between genres, Oneman mixes up UK bass, garage, breaks and much more.
Soulstatejazz for Freerotation. Shared via Tom Ellis‘ Soundcloud, Ellis being a member of the Freerotation festival, this excellent live and improvised show from Soulstatejazz ticks all the right chill boxes. Expect jazz infused ambient sounds melded with quirky drum workouts, dub vox and atmospheric drones.
Younger Than Me for Ransom Note. Tusk Wax artists Younger Than Me take the reigns for the new Ransom Note guest slot, providing an excursion through 90’s rave nostalgia. This was recorded from their set at Sziget Festival, and showcases the Milan based pair’s love for reworking classic rave tunes from yesteryear.
