The best record for a family party?
L: I would say Black Lace – ‘Agadoo’… Looooooool!
K: That would probably be something by Wham or Culture Club. ‘Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go’ always gets the floor full at family parties.
The soundtrack to a lazy Sunday afternoon?
L: For me that’s gotta be any of the The Beatles’ albums. I’m into more or less everything they did. They were at the forefront of a spiritual evolution in music and captured it perfectly. I think another one is coming soon!
K: The Churches album has been played a lot recently in my house on a Sunday. I’m really into their sound.
The record you’re proudest of?
L : For me it’s a recent track we did with Cera Alba called ‘I Got One Way’. It was the first time we collaborated and I wasn’t into it straight away but it’s been picked up by Jamie Jones – a video showed up recently of him playing it at Ultra Festival Miami. To see him playing my music for the first time and seeing the crowd’s reaction sent goosebumps all over my body. That’s why I make music – to get that feeling.
K: Proudest record is probably ‘Lost’ on Exploited. A video showed up of Carl Cox playing it at DC10 and just before the track dropped he got on the mic and gave his trademark “oh yes, oh yes”. That was amazing, seeing that.
