On the back of an excellent fabric mix as part of the club’s 24th birthday celebrations, Quest is heading out on tour.
It has not taken Quest long to build a name in dance music. Born in Italy but now based in Berlin, including a stint in London in between, Quest has had a quick rise over the last couple of years.
With his stock rising and a growing demand to catch him live, he’s already ticked off Amnesia Ibiza, Panorama Bar/Berghain, Circoloco, DeSchool, Dimensions Festival, Fold, Hide & Seek Festival, Input Barcelona, Rex Club Paris and Ring Seoul to name just a few landmark shows.
One of the main pulls for fans is his reputation as a selector. Despite sitting firmly in techno and electro, his background as a staunch fan of underground Italian hip-hop helps give his sets an edge. He’ll even throw in the occasional UK garage cut.
A highlight for the growing artist was being invited to play fabrics 24th birthday in October of this year, playing Room 1 and also hosting an episode of their podcast mix series.
Away from the studio and booth, he’s launched his own imprint, La Nota Del Diablo, a vinyl-only label conceptually focused on devilish-sounding music for a chilling and foreboding atmosphere which mirrors his DJ sets.
