Francis Mercier has announced the upcoming release of ‘Voyage Voyage’: a reworked rendition of Desireless’ 1986 hit, dropping December 12th.

‘Voyage Voyage’ is a collaboration between Francis Mercier, the Swiss Production trio Mont Rouge, and composer and live performer Coco.

The original ‘Voyage Voyage’ has 150 million streams on Spotify alone and transcended the language barrier on the music charts, becoming a huge international success between 1986 and 1988, reaching the top position in more than ten countries across Europe.

With a modern twist, this new production rejuvenates the vibe with a vibrant afro and melodic house flavour and is set for release via Ultra Records on the 15th of December.

Francis Mercier has established himself as a dominant force. He has racked up an impressive collaboration resume, including tracks like ‘Kamili’, produced alongside Nitefreak and Idd Aziz, and ‘Sete’ released as a joint project with BLOND:ISH and Amadou & Mariam.

His taste for collaboration continues as he joins forces with Mont Rouge, an up-and-coming production team whose dynamic signature style has already garnered them praise and support. Plus, with Coco on production, the soundscape covers various influences.

Mark your calendars for the 15th of December, and a classic gets a twist.

‘Voyage Voyage’ is available on all major streaming stores and online stores from December 15th via Ultra Records.
