This weeks top mixes include Chloe Lula for Newtype Rhythms, Parris for FACT and Fur Coat for Fabric.
Plaid for Bleep. In November 2018 online store Bleep took over a unoccupied nail salon in Dalston, converting it into a record store pop up. Inviting various guests for takeover sessions during this time, including Warp Records. The set was recorded live in store in February, and has now been shared for us all to enjoy. Plaid get straight to it in this mix, ploughing their way through an uptempo set full of energy.
Fur Coat for Fabric. Fur Coat performed at Fabric over the weekend, and warmed up for the show with this promo mix. Hailing from Venezuela, the Barcelona based pair lay down some moody melodic house and techno, moving through cuts by Fideles, Shall Ocin and Adana Twins.
Chloe Lula for Newtype Rhythms. Berlin’s Chloe Lula drops this mix on the weekly Newtype Rhythms show hosted by Sheepshead. Expect a combo of electro, driven percussion licks and stompin’ techno.
Pawel “Paide” Dunajko for XLR8R. Paide provides this excellent mix for LA music and culture mag XLR8R. The Outlines label owner spins an hour of footwork, keeping the tempo high throughout and keeping the grooves and synth lines as wonky as possible.
Parris for FACT. Online music mag FACT have amassed a reputation for outstanding quality mixes on this channel, inviting London producer Parris for the latest episode. Parris spins a varied set of beats, bleeps, house, breaks and more.
