Objekt’s Abstract and Unusual Selections. Ahead of an upcoming performance at Dekmantel Festival, house and techno producer Objekt, known for his distinctive releases on Hessle Audio, Bleep and PAN, presents 90 minutes of abstract and unusual selections “moving through pummelling but atmospheric drum tracks and on to jungle, dub and experimental worldly rhythms” for the Dekmantel podcast. Avalon Emerson Live at Printworks London. Berlin-based DJ and producer Avalon Emerson shares a recording of her set at Printworks London, offering a timeless narrative that reflects a passion for the sound design of new wave, the futurism of techno, the soul of American house and the exuberance of rave “complete w/ crowd noise and a lil game too!” Stream and download above.

The Way GFOTY Rocks. In her recently uploaded The Way I Rock mix, PC Music‘s Girlfriend Of The Year selects an hour of the brashest in all of dance music from the 90s until now, including Midlands bassline, pitched-up hardcore, grime bangers, a Chumbawamba-Spice Girls mashup and a eurodance remix of the Titanic soundtrack. DJ Zinc’s Impeccably Tailored Clash Mix. Known for his releases on Rinse, Armada, and his own label Bingo, eclectic UK producer DJ Zinc steps up again with his new Clash Mix. Opening with some Justin Martin cuts, “the impeccably tailored mix has a wonderful sense of balance between the physical and the cerebral”. Stream above, track listing here.

Jonny Nash’s Liner Notes. Melody As Truth boss and member of three-piece group Gaussian Curve, Jonny Nash puts together a mix for Red Light Radio‘s Liner Notes series, featuring tracks by Moby, Bruce and more. “The mix reflects a combination of some recent tracks I found, plus some pieces by artists who have had a big influence on my music,” he explains. Lord Tusk’s Disciple Agency Mix. The first of gritty deep techno label Apron Records‘ new Disciple Agency mix series features sound curator, selector and electronic musician Lord Tusk, who released his Space Invaders EP with Brassfoot on Apron, drawing together 90 minutes of esoteric house, vape wave and soundtrack music.
