Swiss DJ Carla Du Riche strays from her love of the bass-heavy and club-oriented areas of hip-hop, R&B and soul to contribute Jakarta Records‘ Radio Jakarta mix series, which instead explores “rather house-ey sounds with some eastern flavours”. Rush Hour’s Brazilian Favourites. Amsterdam record store and label Rush Hour‘s first Store Broadcast session brings forth a six-hour recording of Brazilian music collectors, including Antal, Mr. Mendel, and others playing their favourites. “Expect loads of astonishing songs that you might have not heard before…” Stream above.
JD Twitch at Brilliant Corners. A recording of one of the DJs who founded Glasgow’s legendary club night of over two decades, Optimo (Espacio), and has taken it international since. JD Twitch plays “spiritual synth dub, DIY exotica and post-punk chanson” live at East London’s Brilliant Corners for the latest instalment of RA‘s Live series. Stream above.

Known for almost a decade of hit singles and EPs via UK house labels, a new mix of house, UK funky and jungle from Montreal-via-South East London DJ/producer Deadboy, celebrating the release of his debut LP Earth Body via Local Action.
