J Dilla: Back To The Crib Mixtape. An unheard J Dilla mixtape from 2000 emerges via Boiler Room as BBE Records readies their release of the legendary Detroit producer’s posthumously completed album The Shining on 7″ for the first time. It’s a “fly-on-the-wall showing of what Jay Dee had blaring out of his speakers while on the sofa or by the MPC”. Stream above.
100 Years of Women in Electronic Music. An hour-long mix featuring 60 years of electronic music from around 50 pioneering female artists, featuring work from M.I.A., Laetitia Sonami, Else Marie Pade, Maryanne Amacher, Kyoka and others, based on a research commissioned by Club Transmediale Berlin.
