Bandcamp users’ tax problem solved. New European Union VAT legislation seemed to put a cripplingly inconvenient obstacle in the way of small online sellers such as Bandcamp users, requiring them to charge VAT in the country of their customer on even the smallest of sales within the EU – as The Telegraph reported. But blogging bassist Steve Lawson expressed his relief, as Bandcamp responds by doing all the hard work for sellers, and simply giving them a quarterly download to submit.
No questions asked refunds for App Store & iTunes in EU countries. Apple introduces a 14-day no questions asked return policy for iTunes, App Store and iBooks purchases in Europe and states that they will refund users within two weeks of notice of cancellation either through their Report a Problem feature or a written statement. iTunes Gifts cannot be refunded once you have redeemed the code.
