Build A Daft Punk Helmet. Engineer Charles Bergeron documented his project creating mock versions of Daft Punk’s iconic helmets on Github, so it’s free to try and replicate for anyone with some spare NeoPixel LEDs and a soldering iron. For those less technically inclined, the helmet will be for sale on Etsy for a heavy $2300, starting in September. Check out the video above.

Aphex Twin Readies New Album Syro. Aphex Twin announced his first new album release since 2001 on the deep web, following a blimp over East London with his logo and text reading “2014” and a stencil on the pavement outside Radio City in NYC. Track listing and cover art can be found here.

Ultra Music President On the Next Big Trend In Electronic Music. In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, founder of Ultra Music Patrick Moxey spoke out on the evolving EDM scene: “The great thing about electronic music is every time people want to put it in a box, it changes… Anytime one part of it becomes commercialized, new parts start to reinvent themselves.
