Propellerhead brings Thor to iOS. The company’s flagship soft synth, bundled as part of Reason, is now available for the iPad, priced at £10.49 ($14.99).

Nicolas Jaar remixes Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories. Yes, the whole album, in its entirety. Daft Punk stans will probably think this is sacrilegious. Others will accuse Jaar of trying to cash in on their fame. The music’s patchy in places but some of it’s actually pretty good (check out the mutant electro reworking of ‘Doin’ It Right’). Stream it here and let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

VirSyn adds Audiobus support to iVoxel. Version 2.5 of the company’s excellent vocoder app for iOS is compatible with the industry standard Audiobus protocol and includes improved graphics for iPhone 5.

NI Traktor S4 goes on sale. Native Instruments has slashed the price of its Traktor S4 DJ controller from $899/€799 to $599/€599 for a limited period. Could the discount signal the imminent arrival of a new version? Perhaps a class-compliant model which is compatible with Traktor DJ for iOS?

Goldbaby gets dirty. Kiwi sample purveyor Hugo Tichborne (who gave Attack readers an incredible free sample pack last month) has released his latest collection. Dirt And Layers is a 900 MB bundle of textures, drum layering sounds and loops. Available now for $29.

Dâm Funk shares Snoop Dogg cassette demo. The California modern funk artist’s SoundCloud account is a treasure trove of rarities, demos and unreleased tracks. His latest upload is a 1993 cassette demo of the lyrically dubious but undeniably funky classic ‘Ain’t No Fun (If The Homies Can’t Have None)’ by 213 (aka Snoop, Nate Dogg, Kurupt and Warren G).

TAL announces Roland SH-101 emulation. One of our favourite analogue synths comes in for another emulation just a few months after the release of D16’s excellent LuSH-101. TAL’s version retains two of the best features of the original: the step sequencer and external clock trigger input. We’ll be reviewing it as soon as possible.

Cubase Elements 7 goes on sale. The stripped-down version of Steinberg’s flagship DAW is now available, priced at €99 (upgrade from Elements 6 is €49).

Jamie xx shares a mixTo promote The xx’s Night + Day one-day mini-festival in Hertfordshire this weekend, Jamie shares his set from the London trio’s recent Berlin event via RBMA Radio.
