Fabric to celebrate 14th Birthday with 30-hour party. As well as a bumper line-up on Friday 18th October (including Oneman, J Rocc, Martelo and a debut live show from Chicago rapper Sasha Go Hard), the club will play host to 30 hours of non-stop music from 11pm on Saturday until 5am on Monday. The night/morning/night/morning will feature a five-hour set from Marcel Dettmann and live sets from Shed and No Regular Play. Residents Craig Richards and Terry Francis will be kicking around with the likes of Ricardo Villalobos, Skream and Soul Clap. Then straight to work, obviously. More info here.

Mollywatr: names water after a drug, revolutionises hydration on the EDM scene. Mollywatr, the new brainchild from Ken Unaeze, claims to be “The perfect complement for your EDM experience”. Unaeze asserts that by using “cool” branding such as the strapline “Molly is better than coke” , his $5 bottles of water will counter the “stigmatization of water consumption”. Spain approves crackdown on pirate site owners, and ease-off on users. Owners of websites that link to pirated material can be jailed for up to six years. Only those making money (including money from advertising) by linking to illegally provided copyrighted material will be prosecuted. Users will not face any punishment and ordinary peer-to-peer file-sharing sites and search engines are exempt. Read more here.
