‘Enemy of Myself’ is out now.
‘Enemy of Myself’ is part of Hostage Records‘ compilation album, ‘Various Artists – A.I. Gems‘ featuring Andre Luki, Lutgens and Afonsera.
The track epitomises the Raw Ideology sound with a galloping filtered bassline, sparse melodies and scattered 909 claps.
Raw Ideology, real name Fernando de Sá, is a Portugal-based techno producer and DJ originally from Northern Brazil’s Amazon region. Over recent years, he has been steadily developing as an artist, having performed on Brazil’s Resistance Stage and released on labels such as Fine Mode, Hotstage, Mental Schizophrenia, Stige, Funk n’ Deep and many more.
The Brazilians’ production style has elements of hardstyle but without getting into the distorted over blown, much faster techno of recent years. It maintains a few minimal flashes, a style that many feel will become more popular again as we move into 2024. The music also features eeerry pad soundscapes, chopped vocals and automated hi-hats.
‘Enemy of Myself’ is out now on Hostage Recordings.
