Shop to Donate by Soundtoys starts today and ends tomorrow. Every dollar from each product purchase or upgrade made on August 2nd and 3rd will be donated to carefully selected Vermont-based nonprofit organizations.

Soundtoys is stepping up to help flood victims and neighbors affected by recent catastrophic rainfall and floods in Vermont, where the company is based.

They are organizing a two-day giving event on August 2nd and 3rd, to support local nonprofit organizations in providing immediate relief to those in need.

The severe weather events in July 2023 resulted in extensive flooding, forcing evacuations, damaging infrastructure, crops, and posing potential threats to dams. In response to the crisis, Soundtoys is calling on their customers and friends to join hands and contribute to the relief efforts.

During the two-day event, customers can participate by purchasing on the Soundtoys website (www.soundtoys.com). Every dollar from each product purchase or upgrade made on August 2nd and 3rd will be donated to carefully selected Vermont-based nonprofit organizations.

The proceeds from sales made on August 2nd will be directed to the Vermont Community Foundation’s Flood Response & Recovery Fund. This foundation is focused on efficiently channeling funds to those most in need during the crisis stage and supporting long-term recovery efforts, including rebuilding homes, infrastructure, and communities.

On August 3rd, the proceeds from sales will be directed to the Northeast Organic Farming Association of Vermont (NOFA-VT). The organization’s Farmer Emergency Fund aims to help farmers recover from the impacts of the storm. Many farmers often face challenges with insurance coverage and may not qualify for federal or private assistance programs, making this emergency fund essential in helping them become more resilient in the face of disasters.

Sountoys & Philanthropy

Soundtoys has a commendable history of philanthropy and activism, having raised over $720,000 for various humanitarian and civil rights organizations. The company’s contributions have supported initiatives by Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders, World Central Kitchen, the Red Cross Society of Ukraine, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), Migrant Offshore Aid Station (MOAS), National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Legal Defense Fund, Team Rubicon, and the Gulf Restoration Network.

The opportunity to make direct donations is available for those who may not need a product purchase but still wish to contribute. Donations will play a significant role in assisting flood victims, supporting farmers in their recovery, and rebuilding the affected communities in Vermont.
